I used to think tdd could turn any programmer into an, ahum, cough, ‘architect’.
I now believe tdd is only a tool that enhances your performance.
Concerning the design part, … automated testing in itself, ofcourse, has other obvious benefits.
But if you’re delivering zero design/value to start with, it is never, ever going to help you at all.
Tdd alone is not going to save you from the ‘Big Ball of Mud’.
Zero times whatever equals zero.
